The licensed provider behind every Regal protocol. Dr Naifeh reviews the lab work, evaluates the member, and approves or declines every prescription at Regal Weight Loss — at all three Dallas–Fort Worth offices and for every virtual member in Texas. Nothing is prescribed without his sign-off.
Most weight loss programs put a stock photo of a lab coat on the checkout page and call it medical supervision. At Regal, the medical side of every membership runs through one named, Texas-licensed provider: Dr Eric Naifeh, FNP, PMHNP, DC, who serves as Medical Director through Superior Healthcare.
Dr Naifeh's role is deliberately narrow and deliberately non-negotiable. He orders and interprets the complete lab panel every new member receives, reviews their medical history, current medications, and contraindications, and decides whether — and which — medication is clinically appropriate. When it is, he prescribes it and manages the dose over time. When it isn't, the member still gets the full program: the nutrition plan, the weekly coaching, and the accountability that does most of the work anyway.
That last point matters. Regal's position is that GLP-1 therapy and other prescription tools are the fuel, not the fire. The plan — certified nutritional coaching, weekly check-ins, medical monitoring — is the structure that decides whether the weight stays off. Dr Naifeh is the person who looks at that structure and decides when it can take the heat.
This is the sequence every Regal member goes through, whether they walk into an office or meet by video from Lubbock. Medication is step four, and it only happens if steps one through three say it should.
A Regal consultant learns your history, your goals, and what you've already tried. No medical decisions are made here — this is the honest-conversation step.
A full panel — metabolic, thyroid, and the markers that determine which tools are safe for you. Drawn locally or at an office.
Dr Naifeh reviews your labs, history, medications, and contraindications and builds the medical side of your plan around what he finds.
If medication fits, Dr Naifeh prescribes it and licensed pharmacy partners dispense it. If it doesn't, your plan runs on coaching, nutrition, and accountability.
Dr Naifeh holds Texas licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with two nurse-practitioner specialties, plus a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and license. Each license can be verified by name through the issuing state board.

Texas requires nurse practitioners to prescribe under a prescriptive authority agreement with a collaborating physician, and Dr Naifeh practices under that model. It's an oversight layer on top of his own licensure, not a substitute for it: he is the provider who evaluates you and signs the prescription, with physician collaboration in place as Texas law requires. Regal Weight Loss LLC itself is a medical referral service; the patient-provider relationship is formed through Superior Healthcare, and prescriptions are dispensed by licensed pharmacy partners rather than by Regal.
Regarding the title “Dr”: Dr Naifeh is not a physician (MD/DO). The title reflects his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and his credentials are listed alongside his name everywhere on this site so that the authority for the title is always clear, in keeping with Texas Occupations Code §104.004.
Weight is rarely just a metabolic problem. Dr Naifeh's three credentials cover the three places it actually lives: the labs, the head, and the body that has to move.
Lab interpretation, medication selection, dose management, and the ongoing monitoring that keeps a protocol safe over months rather than weeks.
When GLP-1 receptor agonists fit a member's plan, Dr Naifeh evaluates eligibility, manages titration, and watches for the side effects that a mail-order prescription never follows up on. How GLP-1 therapy works at Regal →
His psychiatric-mental health credential brings something most weight loss providers lack: an understanding of the behavioral and emotional patterns behind appetite, stress eating, and the “quiet” a medication creates — and how to fill it on purpose.
Every member's plan starts from a complete panel — metabolic, thyroid, and the markers that determine which tools are safe. Dr Naifeh reads them personally rather than running them through a checklist.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, he brings a working knowledge of joints, posture, and pain to plans for members who need to move more but have bodies that have been telling them not to.
Virtual members from Houston to El Paso get the same evaluation, the same lab review, and the same provider as members who walk into a DFW office.
Regal's clinical content — program pages, the GLP-1 education hub, and articles about how medication and coaching work together — is reviewed by Dr Naifeh for medical accuracy before it's published and re-reviewed when guidance changes.
Every page on regalweightloss.com that describes a medication, a lab, a side effect, or a clinical claim is reviewed by Dr Naifeh before publication. He checks it against current prescribing guidance and Texas practice requirements, removes anything that promises an outcome, and makes sure medication is always presented as one tool inside a program rather than a product on its own.
Reviewed pages carry a “Medically reviewed by Dr Eric Naifeh, FNP, PMHNP, DC” line and a review date. If you find a clinical statement on this site you believe is inaccurate or out of date, email marissa@regalweightloss.com and it will be routed to him for review.
Every Regal membership starts with a short application, a free consultation, and lab work reviewed by Dr Naifeh before anything is prescribed — in-person at one of our three DFW offices, or virtual anywhere in Texas. No charge, no obligation, no pressure to enroll. Just an honest conversation about whether the Regal Membership is the right fit for you.
A Regal consultant reaches out to confirm your free consultation and answer any questions. If you qualify and decide to move forward, we schedule your lab work and medical evaluation. If it's not the right fit, you'll know — with no pressure either way.
